Ayurvedic Workshop for Late Winter & Spring

  • 129 N 10th St Ste. 309 Lincoln, NE 68508 United States (map)

In-studio & Zoom/Vimeo

Investment: $30

We will soon be entering a seasonal juncture…in mid-March we begin making the shift from Late Winter into Spring and what a welcoming!

In Ayurveda in this known as the Kapha season. What is happening in nature is also happening to us, so it is normal to feel a bit stuck, lethargic, heavy, congested or even isolated (hello pandemic?)  Some hibernation is good this time of year, but we can quickly get wrapped into that stagnant energy if we aren’t careful.  Invigoration is the name of the game when we are thinking of our yoga practice and food choices.

In Ayurveda we not only keep a daily routine, but we also keep a seasonal routine.  Spring cleansing our homes and bodies during the seasonal junctures is considered a vital part of an Ayurvedic lifestyle.  A cleanse this time of year might be calling you, especially if you feel unmotivated or you’ve been struggling with a cold, allergies, sinus issues or excess weight. The cleanse and the daily routines I will be teaching in this workshop can really help you stay balanced this spring.  No previous yoga or ayurveda experience necessary.

$30 gets you the workshop, a lecture and discussion (bring a notebook), a handout with recipes and a shopping list. Refreshments will be served to those who attend in person.

In studio (spots limited) or join us on Zoom.
